MANILA, Philippines – Another 193 Filipinos from Kuwait are on their way back to the Philippines on Monday as part of the government’s repatriation efforts amid tensions in the Middle East. According to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), this marks the eighth batch of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their dependents repatriated from Kuwait. “The eighth batch of repatriates from Kuwait, consisting of 193 Filipinos—including 118 OFWs and their dependents such as spouses, children, and parents—is in the process of returning home,” OWWA said in a statement.
