A rare copy of the first German translation of the meaning of the Quran text is being displayed at the Holy Quran Museum in the Hira Cultural District in Mecca, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Printed in 1623, in the German city of Nuremberg, this edition is considered a key historical example of efforts to convey the Quran’s meanings to non-Arabic speakers and reflects early European interest in Quranic studies.For more Saudi news, visit our dedicated page. The copy is part of the holdings of the King Fahd National Library, which preserves national and scientific heritage for researchers and the public, SPA said.
