Glendene factory fire sends black smoke over West Auckland, fire crews race to scene

Black smoke is rising over West Auckland as emergency services respond to a large factory fire.  The smoke could be seen from as far as Point Chevalier, where one witness filmed a dark plume rising from the Glendene industrial precinct several kilometres away.  Fire and Emergency New Zealand are currently responding to the incident and have been approached for comment.  More to come ...
