LEGAZPI CITY — The Sunwest Water and Electric Co. (SUWECO), the main power supplier in Catanduanes, may shut down its diesel generator sets due to fuel supply constraints, raising the risk of a province-wide power outage. SUWECO spokesperson Lorenza Rojas, in a local radio interview on Monday, said soaring diesel prices have made operations unsustainable, with the company spending about P30 million to keep the plant running.
