Bangsamoro chief minister to focus on service over politics

COTABATO CITY—Bangsamoro Chief Minister Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” Macacua announced on Monday that he will temporarily step back from partisan political activities to focus on delivering public service in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Macacua was earlier endorsed as the 3rd district representative of Maguindanao del Norte by the Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP), one of the parties to join parliamentary elections in the region this year.
