The Brazil international scored his side's opener on Monday night, with Benjamin Sesko ultimately netting the winner before a late consolation from Mathias Jensen. Casemiro has already confirmed that he'll be leaving United at the end of the season following four years in the Premier League. But with the 34-year-old in sensational form, and with the Red Devils short in the middle of the park, many supporters want him to stay. Despite leading, they were sometimes exposed - with goalkeeper Senne Lammens called into action on several occasions. Playing that system often split opinion under Amorim, but Carrick was pleased with the way his team were able to close out the game. "We tweaked things second half and, for the most part, had decent control," he stated. "I thought the spirit and effort was fantastic. We could've scored more but, at this time of year, it's a results business. "We were going to make it anyway and then we scored the second goal.
