Focus Campaign on Vape Sales to Vienna's Children: 170 Reports Filed

In Austria, the sale of tobacco and nicotine products to individuals under 18 years old has been prohibited for seven years, yet violations continue to be recorded. Since February, the market office in Vienna has been conducting intensified inspections. Out of 366 checks, 170 reports were filed. The inspections are planned to take place not just sporadically, but throughout the entire year. Furthermore, vendors selling illegally can be reported by phone, as stated in a release on Tuesday.
