MANILA – Fugitive former lawmaker Zaldy Co proceeded to France to seek political asylum, Malacañang announced on Tuesday, citing “highly reliable information”. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed disappointment over the failure to bring Co back to the Philippines. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said that Co has left the Czech Republic.
