The Israeli Navy has begun intercepting the flotilla sailing toward the Gaza Strip in an effort to challenge Israel’s naval blockade. Tracking data shows the “Global Sumud Flotilla,” made up of 58 vessels, is currently near the Greek island of Crete — hundreds of nautical miles from Israel.
