South Korea's industrial output, retail sales and facility investment all rose from a month earlier in March, official data showed Thursday. Industrial production edged up 0.3 percent last month, marking the second consecutive month of increase, according to the data from the Ministry of Data and Statistics. Retail sales, a gauge of private spending, rose 1.8 percent over the cited period, driven by increased sales of communication devices, computers and home appliances, the ministry said. Facility investment also gained 1.5 percent on-month, supported by increased spending on transportation equipment.
