MANILA, Philippines — Fire broke out from a residential building in Sta. Cruz Manila early Thursday morning, reaching the fourth alarm. According to the Bureau of Fire Protection–National Capital Region (BFP NCR) Manila city, the first alarm was raised at 2:42 a.m. It then reached the second alarm by 2:57 a.m., third alarm by 3:26 a.m., and fourth alarm by 3:53 a.m. Authorities quickly responded to the operation and by 5:06 a.m, the fire was declared “under control.” The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. The incident comes a day after a five-hour blaze hit a residential village in Muninlupa City. Damage and cause have also not been established.
