CEBU CITY, Philippines — About 20,000 housing units across the Visayas and other parts of the country will be opened to buyers during Pag-IBIG Fund’s first Housing Fair in Cebu, as the government steps up efforts to address a nationwide housing backlog that has exceeded 2.2 million units. The two-day event, set on April 30 to May 1 at the IEC Convention Center (IC3) in Cebu City, will also showcase available inventory from both Pag-IBIG reacquired assets and private developers.
