MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. The tremor was recorded at 6:04 a.m., with its epicenter located 37 kilometers northeast of Cagwait town in Surigao del Sur.
