BOLINAO, Pangasinan – The coastal waters of the island town of Anda and this town in Pangasinan province remain positive for red tide toxin (paralytic shellfish poison), and shellfish here are not safe for human consumption, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). Shellfish Bulletin No. 9, issued by BFAR Region I on Wednesday, advised the public against consuming shellfish and “alamang” from the affected areas.
