Samuel Corum / Getty Images President Donald Trump is to hold crisis talks with two of the country’s most senior military commanders, fueling speculation that he is about to order a new wave of deep strikes on Iran, according to insiders. Negotiations with Tehran are at an impasse, with both sides refusing to budge on their red lines. Some of Trump’s aides and allies have encouraged him to negotiate with force, whilst others have advised continued economic pressure. However, two sources with knowledge of the matter have told Axios that the 79-year-old is leaning towards the former and is due to receive a briefing from CENTCOM Commander Adm.
