As Delhi turns up the heat, MCD orders citywide cooling measures

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has issued an advisory for the upcoming summer season. Departments are directed to take precautionary measures against heatwave conditions. Arrangements for cool drinking water, cooling facilities, and ORS kits will be made. Working hours for sanitation staff will be rationalized. Heatwave warnings will be disseminated at the ward level to protect civic workers and residents.
