Israeli interception of Gaza flotilla was in international waters, gov’t spokesman says

The Israeli interception of an activists’ flotilla headed for Gaza early Thursday occurred in international waters northwest of Crete, outside of Greek territorial waters, government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis has said.
