VILLABA, LEYTE, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday led the inauguration of the P1.21-billion Hibulangan Reservoir Irrigation Project here, a major infrastructure development expected to enhance agricultural productivity across several towns in Leyte province. The project, considered one of the region’s largest irrigation facilities, is designed to provide reliable irrigation water to some 2,750 hectares of agricultural lands tilled by 1,821 farmers in Villaba, Matag-ob and Kananga towns.
