LAHORE: The Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan, Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera, along with a business delegation, visited the National Grid Company (NGC) Headquarters in Lahore, Thursday and met with Managing Director Engr Altaf Hussain Malik to discuss issues relating to bilateral partnership in energy sector. The Managing Director NGC warmly received the Ambassador and the business delegation from Andritz Hydro, a world-renowned Austrian company with a long presence in Pakistan’s hydropower sector. During the meeting, discussions focused on exploring avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the power sector, reaffirming NGC’s commitment to fostering international partnerships in support of Pakistan’s energy goals. The Austrian ambassador assured his country’s support for future endeavours. Engr Altaf Hussain Malik thanked the Ambassador and the distinguished delegation for their visit and expressed his eagerness for continued engagement.
