LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Public hospitals and health units in Cebu have been placed on “Code Blue” alert as Cebu prepares to host the 48th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders’ Summit. The Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7) said the alert, effective April 30 until May 12, 2026, ensures immediate medical response and sustained health services during the high-level regional event.
