MANILA, Philippines — Inflation topped Filipinos’ worries on national issues in the first quarter of 2026, while health, food, and income security emerged as their most pressing personal concerns, a survey showed. The Octa “Tugon ng Masa” survey, conducted from March 19 to 25 via face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults, found that 45 percent of Filipinos see “controlling the increase in prices of basic goods and services” as the most important national issue that the government must act upon.
