MANILA, Philippines — Workers in Regions 10 and 13 celebrated Labor Day on Friday with higher daily minimum wages ranging from P475 to P500, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said. Beginning May 1, the daily minimum wage in Region 10 rose to P500 from P485 following the implementation of the second tranche of P14. The first tranche of P25, which took effect on January 16, raised the minimum wage to P471.
