MANILA, Philippines — Delivering a progress report on the blue ribbon committee’s probe of the infrastructure corruption mess before the plenary is meant to inform the people and avoid any misinformation, Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo Lacson said on Friday. In a statement, Lacson said that despite disagreements regarding the partial committee report, he has decided to make public the report’s contents through a “Chairman’s Progress Report” when the session resumes to counter “false narratives” floated by their critics.
