"Mexico City's Polanco neighbourhood welcomed the 2026 Festival of Flowers and Gardens on Thursday, with streets filled with floral displays to mark the arrival of spring. Footage shows visitors touring installations along Presidente Masaryk Avenue and Lincoln Park, where artisans, landscapers and designers created flower arrangements shaped like animals, characters and decorative figures. "The floral arrangements bring life to the area and decorate the streets beautifully," said a visitor. Another festival goer praised the exhibitions in Lincoln Park and America Park. "It is fabulous because people come to see what else there is. Everything is amazing," she said. The festival received 173 proposals from artisans and florists from across Mexico this year. The event runs until May 3 and includes talks, workshops and conferences on gardening, botany and landscaping."
