LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Sixty-six families living in a community at the back of Mactan Expo in Lapu-Lapu City were temporarily relocated to a resort in Cordova as part of the preparation for the ASEAN Leaders’ Summit on May 7–8, 2026. Edgar Forsuelo, president of Lampara Urban Poor Association, said that the city started relocating them on April 27, 2026, and they will continue staying at the resort until May 9, 2026.
