May Day cordon in Mecidiyeköy: Water cannons deployed

Extraordinary measures have been taken in Mecidiyeköy Square and the surrounding area, which the 1 May Taksim Initiative and certain democratic mass organisations have designated as the venue for their May Day gathering.
