MANILA – The easterlies affecting the Philippines will bring scattered rains to several areas of the country, the weather bureau said Saturday. In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Saturday weather will be characterized by cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are forecast over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Palawan.
