MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – Did you know that tarsiers are so shy and sensitive that extreme stress can lead to their death? For this reason, tarsier conservation centers – especially those in Bohol Province – strictly prohibit physical contact with these nocturnal primates, according to Zerrah Lynn Arcayena, a guide at the National Museum of Bohol.
