LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — A police officer suspected in the shooting of a 25-year-old farmer in this capital town on Thursday, April 30, has surrendered to authorities. The suspect turned himself in at the San Carlos City Police Station, where he is assigned, at around noon on Friday. He also surrendered his issued firearm, along with its magazine and ammunition. In a statement, the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office, signed by Lt. Col. Marceliano Desamito Jr., said the officer has been transferred to the Lingayen Police Station and is now under custody.
