MANILA, Philippines — A Chinese man will undergo deportation proceedings after being arrested for posing as a Filipino and owning fake IDs and documents, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Saturday. According to the BI, 51-year-old Wenyu Lin was arrested during an operation in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay last April 16. The agency noted that Lin was arrested on the spot following a surveillance.
