Heavy rains lash parts of Kerala; IMD issues 'orange alert' in four districts

Kerala experienced heavy rains on Saturday, leading the IMD to issue an 'orange alert' for Ernakulam, Thrissur, Idukki, and Malappuram districts due to very heavy rainfall. The alert warned of thunderstorms with gusty winds up to 50 km per hour. Additionally, high UV radiation levels were recorded in Pathanamthitta and Idukki.
