Coast Guard warns mariners of Balikatan missile drill in Tacloban waters

TACLOBAN CITY — The Coast Guard District Eastern Visayas (CGDEV) has issued a navigational advisory warning mariners of a missile-related activity in the waters off San Pedro Bay from May 5 to 7, as part of the ongoing Philippines–United States Balikatan Exercises. In its advisory issued on April 28, CGDEV said the activity will involve a Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) under Balikatan Exercise 41-2026 (BK41-26).
