DAGUPAN CITY — Villagers of Barangay Lasip Chico in Dagupan City celebrated its annual feast highlighting its lechon industry through the 4th “Lechonan ed Barangay” on Saturday, May 2. Some 22 pigs were roasted simultaneously starting at 6 a.m. The roasted pigs were offered for free taste and sold for P800 per kilo. According to Lasip Chico village chief Aldex Meneses, the lechon industry in the barangay has been there for over four decades already.
