"The International Carpet Festival kicked off in Baku on Saturday as master weavers brought centuries-old craftsmanship to life, creating intricate carpets. Footage shows artisans at work on their pieces, trimming threads and adjusting looms. The video also captures musicians performing, children playing football, and visitors taking photographs of the finished carpets. "I’m getting the most pleasant impressions and sensations, enjoying the pavement, the cobblestones, the old walls, mosques, minarets, even the scents. It’s wonderful," said Natalia, a festival visitor. In turn, tourist Igor George noted that he was impressed by the beauty of Baku. "It's really nice and the Old City is quite big. So I think it takes all day to cover all the facilities that are presented here," he added. The festival takes place on the grounds of the Old City reserve for the third time and will run until May 3. It brings together artisans from 19 countries. "
