MANILA, Philippines— Some areas in Metro Manila, Rizal and Laguna will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday. It said that in Brgy. Ugong, Valenzuela City, some places will have no power on May 4 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconstruction works along Mindanao Ave. In Makati City, some areas in Brgy. San Lorenzo will have no electricity on May 5 between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. due to line maintenance works in Legaspi Village. Also, some locations near Piña Ave. in Sampaloc, Manila will have power interruptions on May 6 between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. because of line conversion works. Some areas in Punta, Sta. Ana will have no electricity on May 10 between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. because of line reconstruction works and line reconductoring works. In Caloocan City, some parts of Grace Park will have no power on May 6-7 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of hazardous wood electricity poles along 11th Ave., 8th and 9th Sts. In Taguig City, several locations in the villages of Katuparan, Ugong, Pinagsama, and North Signal Village will have short power interruptions on May 6-8 because of line reconstruction works. Some areas in the villages of Pinagsama and North Signal will also have power interruption on May 6 between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. due to line reconstruction work. Also, some places in the villages of Katuparan, Ususan and North Signal will have no electricity on May 7 between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m., between 2:15 a.m. and 2:45 a.m., and also between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. due to line reconstruction works along 8th St. Some locations in the villages of Katuparan, and North Signal will again have short power interruptions on May 8 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., and between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. because of line reconstruction works. In Laguna, some areas in Brgy. Botocan, Majayjay and in Brgy. San Rafael and Brgy. San Roque in Luisiana will have no electricity on May 8 between 10:30 and 3:30 p.m. due to line reconductoring works along Majayjay–Luisiana Road. Toshiba Storage Device Philippines Inc. and Sercomm Philippines Inc. in Carmelray Industrial Park 1 in Brgy. Canlubang, Calamba City will have no power on May 9 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. due to line reconductoring works along Innovation Drive in Carmelray Industrial Park 1. In Rizal, a portion of Eastwind Homes Village and Eastwood Greenview Subd. Phase 3 will have no electricity on May 6 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of the installation of electricity facilities along Centella St. in Eastwind Homes Village, Brgy. San Rafael, Rodriguez. Also, some places in the villages of Calumpang Sto. Cristo and Dulumbayan in Teresa, Rizal will have power interruptions on May 8 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. due to line reconstruction works along La Trinidad and Pantaleon Sts.
