Pilot, co-pilot arrested in deadly Bolivian military plane crash

LA PAZ — The pilot and co-pilot of a Bolivian air force cargo plane that crashed earlier this year, killing 22 people, have been arrested, local media reported Saturday. The C-130 Hercules transport plane crashed after veering off the runway at El Alto International Airport outside La Paz on February 27. Part of the fuselage came off the aircraft and landed in a busy urban area outside the airport, located around nine miles (15 kilometers) from La Paz, causing fatalities.
