MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Sunday said over 300,000 food packs and basic needs have already been pre-positioned for residents of the Bicol region affected by Mayon Volcano’s continuous eruptive activity. According to a DSWD advisory, 301,311 family food packs have so far been pre-prepositioned as of 6 a.m. of Sunday for Albay residents affected by the recent thick ashfall from Mayon Volcano.
