MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cavite will have water interruptions this week due to maintenance works and high demand, Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. said. Manila Water said that in Metro Manila, some areas in the villages of Rosario, Manggahan, and Maybunga in Pasig City will have water interruptions on May 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities to detect leaks. In Quezon City, some places at Teachers Village East, Teachers Village West, UP Campus, San Vicente, and Old Capitol Site will have no water on May 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing works at Maginhawa St. corner Masaya St. Parts of Brgy. Culiat and Brgy. Vasra in Quezon City will also have water interruptions on May 5-7 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities. Some areas in Brgy South Triangle in Quezon City will have service interruptions on May 7-8 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing works along Timog Ave. corner T. Morato Ave. In Marikina City, some portions of Brgy. Marikina Heights will have water service interruptions on May 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. also due to step testing activities. In San Juan City, some locations in the villages of Balong-Bato, San Perfecto, Progreso, Rivera, and Pedro Cruz will have no water on May 7-8 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing activities along F. Roman St. corner Aurora Blvd. In Taguig City, some areas in Brgy. Central Signal will have service interruptions on May 7-8 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due also to step testing works at Cuasay St. cor. Sto. Niño St. In Rizal, some portions of Brgy. Sto Domingo in Cainta will have water interruptions on May 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to a line meter replacement along Imelda Ave. corner VCS Homes. Some areas in Brgy. San Roque and Brgy. San Andres in Cainta, Rizal will have service interruptions on May 6-7 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities at A. Rodriguez Ave. In Antipolo, some places in Brgy. Mayamot will have no water on May 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to leak repair along Soliven Ave. Some areas in Brgy. San Jose in Antipolo and Brgy. Pinugay in Baras, Rizal will have water interruptions on May 5-6 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of step testing works along Marcos Highway. Maynilad said in Metro Manila, some areas in the villages of Gen. T. De Leon, Karuhatan, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, and Parada in Valenzuela City will have service interruptions on May 4-8 between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance activities. In Manila City, some locations at the villages of 313, 314, 329, 330 and 335 will have service interruptions on May 3-10 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of leak exploration works. In Santa Cruz district, some places in the villages of 306, 307, 308, 309, 310 311, 313 and 315 will have water interruptions on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration activities. Also, some locations in the villages of 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 430, 457 and 460 will have service interruptions on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration works. In Tondo, some areas in the villages of 124, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 177, 179, 180, 181, and 182, will have no water on May 3-10 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of leak exploration activities. Some places in the villages of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 74, 75, 76, 78, 81, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 163, 168, 169, 170, 171, and 172 will have service interruptions on May 4-10 between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration. Some portions of Brgy. 649 will also have water service interruptions on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration. Also, some places in the villages of 17, 18, 19, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, and 55 will have no water on May 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of network maintenance activities. In Binondo, some areas in the villages of 292, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 303, 304 and 305 will have service interruptions on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to leak exploration. Some parts of the villages of 524, 525, 529, 532, 533 and 535 in Sampaloc will have no water on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration works. In Pandacan, some places in the villages of 835, 836, 837, 838, 839, 840 and 865 will have water interruptions on May 4-11 between 11:01 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration activities. Some areas in the villages of 36, 39, 40, 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 197 in Caloocan City; and also some locations in the villages of 198, 199, 200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216 217, 218, 219, 220 and 202-A in Manila City will have water interruptions on May 4-10 between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. because of leak exploration works at Rizal Ave. Some portions of Brgy. 167 and Brgy. 169 in Caloocan City, and some areas in Brgy. Nagkaisang Nayon and Brgy. San Agustin in Quezon City will have service interruptions on May 4-5 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to a water audit to identify real and apparent losses, such as leaks and inaccurate meter readings. Some parts of Brgy. 188 will have water service interruptions on May 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the insertion of a valve in a water system at Dr. Puno Road, Caloocan City. Some portions of Brgy. 174 will have water service interruptions on May 4-5 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the pullout of a pressure reducing valve. In Imus City, Cavite, several places in the villages of Alapan I-C, Anabu I-A, Anabu I-B, Anabu I-C, Anabu I-D, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II-A, Anabu II- B, Anabu II-C, Anabu II-D, Anabu II-E, Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma III, Bayan Luma IV, Bayan Luma V, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bayan Luma VIII, Bayan Luma IX, Bukandala III, Bukandala IV, Bukandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Malagasang 1-A, Malagasang I-B, Malagasang I-C, Malagasang I-D, Malagasang I-E, Malagasang I-F, Malagasang I-G, Medicion I-B, Poblacion III-B, Poblacion IV-B, Poblacion IV-D, and Tanzang Luma VI will have no water on May 4-5 between 5 a.m. and 12 a.m. because of high water demand at the Patindig Araw pumping station.
