Richard Curran: €750m fuel crisis package will be a drop in the Indian Ocean for Harris and co if Iran conflict isn’t sorted soon

Finance Minister Simon Harris has just flagged that our pending summer of discontent may be quickly followed by a winter of something even worse. The Tánaiste was announcing details of the State’s new €500m fuel-crisis package, which follows the existing €250m package, when he warned that the worst effects of the crisis triggered in Iran may come in the winter.
