"Bangkok hosted one of Asia’s biggest pet showcases on Saturday as the annual Pet Expo Thailand returned, uniting animal lovers, exotic species, and premium pet brands under one vibrant roof. Footage shows attendees strolling through the event with their beloved pets, including dogs comfortably riding in strollers. One visitor carries his cat perched on his shoulder, while others pause to snap photos and capture the lively atmosphere. "It’s quite special to me because I really like cats as well, I like all animals in general. And it’s really cool to see people actually bring their own pets here," said a visitor from the US who is attending the expo for the third time. "I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place where I get to see so many people’s pets. For me, that’s quite special and exciting, it’s what always brings me back," he added. Another attendee, who brought three cats and two dogs, said the reason for being there was to allow his dogs to compete in the show, with any prize money going toward helping stray dogs. "We bring our pets to this fair every year and really enjoy coming here. […] There are so many products available and so many new things for us to learn," shared another visitor. Pet Expo Thailand 2026 kicked off on April 30 and will conclude on May 3 at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, marking nearly 30 years of growth as a leading event in the pet industry. The expo brings together global and local brands to showcase products and services, from pet food and fashion to grooming, veterinary care, and travel solutions, while offering businesses a platform to connect with partners and consumers."
