"Israeli soldiers located and destroyed an 80-meter-long 'terror' tunnel containing several rooms used by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, the IDF said on Sunday. Footage shows troops advancing into Lebanon, with a tank appearing to destroy alleged Hezbollah strongholds. The exact date and location of the footage shared by the IDF cannot be independently verified. "Forces of the 401st Brigade destroyed an underground passage approximately 80 meters in length," it wrote on X. Despite the fragile ceasefire with the Lebanese government, the IDF has continued its strikes and military operations in the neighbouring country, which it says are to eliminate Hezbollah. The Israeli military said that in the last week alone, the 401st Brigade located more than 100 combat means of Hezbollah, "as part of ongoing operations to remove threats to Israeli civilians." On Sunday, it issued new evacuation orders for villages and towns beyond the occupied area in southern Lebanon, asking residents to move at least one kilometre to open areas. Israel says it plans to occupy a 10-kilometre-wide buffer zone along its border and is preventing people from entering the area until the Hezbollah threat is eliminated."
