"Protesters gathered outside the European Parliament in Brussels on Sunday, urging European countries to withdraw their support from the US and Israel. Footage shows demonstrators marching, chanting slogans, holding placards and banners, and waving Iranian, Palestinian and Lebanese flags. "We are holding a protest in Brussels to denounce imperialist wars and support the resistance in the free world," a rally participant explained. Another protester criticised European countries for not taking a stand against the US over its role in the Middle East. "The majority of European countries have become like an extension of the United States. They only speak when Donald Trump presses a button," he said. "European people must take to the streets and oppose the political decisions of European governments." Another demonstrator stressed, "Europe is repeatedly giving all kinds of weapons to Israel, even though they are committing war crimes over and over again." The protest comes as the Israeli military continues its operations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon despite a US-backed ceasefire. Meanwhile, Israel continues to carry out operations in the West Bank, targeting Palestinians."
