"Hong Kong’s Fu Ying Spa and Massage introduced a unique concept called the 'cat massage,' where customers can unwind while surrounded by dozens of freely roaming cats, adding a soothing, playful twist to traditional stress relief. Footage filmed on Saturday shows customers receiving massages from therapists and cats. Many cats lounge around nearby, some curling up on the tables or sitting quietly beside them, creating a calm and comforting atmosphere. "For me, it was the first time having cats around during a massage. I was surprised by how clean and easy everything felt," said customer JR. "The cats are a great conversation starter with the massage therapist. We interacted and even learned a bit about the lives of all the cats," she added. Some cats even participate in the service by 'kneading' the blankets on top of the customers, acting as little feline masseurs. Customers recline in plush massage chairs while a variety of cats, including fluffy Himalayans, help them unwind. The session costs around 50 HKD (around 6$), reflecting a growing trend of animal-assisted wellness experiences in urban spaces."
