LUCENA CITY — Taal Volcano showed renewed unrest after a rise in volcanic earthquakes over the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported (Phivolcs) on Monday, May 4. In its morning bulletin, Phivolcs recorded 20 volcanic earthquakes—significantly higher than the nine events logged over the previous three days.
