I often spend my free time wandering through museums and galleries, particularly in the historic neighborhoods of Bukchon Hanok Village and Samcheong-dong. In these corners of Seoul, tradition and art coexist in quiet harmony. This April, one exhibition stood out — not only for its artistic merit but for its profound message of cultural connection. Hosted by the Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation in collaboration with the Slovak Embassy, the International Cultural Exchange Exhibition offered a rare glimpse into central European illustration. Held at Gallery CN in Bukchon, the exhibition introduced the imaginative world of Slovak illustrator and painter Peter Uchnár to a Korean audience.
