PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur— Authorities intercepted three vehicles carrying suspected illegally sourced mineral ore in Dumingag town early Monday, with an estimated total value of P533,750. The first operation at around 4:30 a.m. along the national highway in Barangay Lower Landing yielded 25 sacks of copper ore weighing about 1,250 kilos. The second and third interceptions followed hours later in Barangay Dulop, involving two mini dump trucks carrying a combined 280 sacks of mineral ore.
