Buckingham Palace confirmed on Monday that Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child this summer. Eugenie, 36, announced the pregnancy on Instagram alongside a photo of her two sons with husband Jack Brooksbank, 40—August, 5, and Ernest, 2—peering at an ultrasound scan, the BBC reported. “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” the princess captioned the post, sprinkled with red heart and baby emojis. In a social media post, Buckingham Palace said: “His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.” The baby will become 15th in line to the British throne, leapfrogging Eugenie’s great-uncle Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh. The happy news comes as the York family weathers ongoing fallout from Andrew’s bombshell February arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office relating to the Epstein files.
