OIL PRICE WATCH as of May 5, 2026

MANILA, Philippines – The brief pump price relief seen during the past three weeks ended today as another round of fuel price hikes greeted motorists. Oil companies hiked diesel prices by P2.60 per liter and gasoline by P2.20 per liter. Kerosene prices will go the opposite direction, with a rollback of P3.53 per liter. The latest adjustments reverse diesel’s recent downward trend and reflect continued volatility in global oil markets.
