"Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) officers were seen detaining a Kursk region resident suspected of gathering intelligence for the Ukrainian special services, in footage released on Tuesday. The FSB said the Russian national was contacted on Telegram by a representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence and encouraged to co-operate 'in exchange for financial reward'. "The Russian national, acting in the interests of Ukrainian security services, recruited at least four Kursk residents from among his acquaintances to collect and pass on to him information, including photographs, about military and civilian facilities in the region," the FSB said in a statement. A criminal case has been opened on treason charges. The FSB said the suspect had admitted guilt."
