Alan Wake and Control developer Remedy has vowed to keep FBC: Firebreak online, despite the company planning to release no further updates to the game. As part of Remedy's latest earnings briefing , the company said, "FBC: Firebreak will remain live and playable." The studio said the infrastructure costs related to this will not be "significant." On Steam, FBC has seven people in the game right now. The game is also available on console through Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, in addition to being available to buy outright.
